First of all, keep in mind that even with extended wear contact lenses you are better off not sleeping with contact lenses in. The value of extended wear contacts should ideally be in the fact that it's not as uncomfortable to fall asleep with contacts in ON OCCASION, but contacts of all types still restrict oxygen from the eye so it is best to take them out as often as possible before you go to bed.

Now to your question: You should probably decide which type you like more yourself by trying them both out. Neither lens is inherently better for everybody than the other. We all have different eyes, so we all need to determine which contact materials work best for us. See your optometrist and try to get a trial for each to see which one is more comfortable. You may also want to try B&L Purevision 2 as they have recently come out, but only in Spherical prescriptions (Torics are on the way).
