My sleeping pattern is seriously messed up.?!

Question: My sleeping pattern is seriously messed up.?
I got back from Italy to Australia about two weeks ago, ever since then I have had the strangest sleeping pattern. I'd fall asleep at 12am-1am then wake up at 3am then fall back asleep at 6am then wake up at 10am then be really really really sleepy at 1pm-2:30pm then the rest of the day I'm just off. And now its way worse I can't get to sleep at all at night and in the day I'm so tired, so I tried staying awake for the day, I got really dizzy and felt like vomiting the whole day. And my pattern is still messed up. What can I do? I need it better by school in less than a week! :(

I don't think you are in the right category to ask this question. We deal with eyes, contact lenses, glasses, and things of that nature here.

Try General Healthcare.

But there are supplements/prescriptions that you can take to help your body re-adjust to the different time zone. You should consult your regular medical doctor for this. You might consider a temporary sleep aid for a few weeks until you get back on your regular schedule again.

Also, try your best not to take naps during the day. Drink some coffee, go exercise, and just do what you can to stay awake.

Before you go to bed, try to do the same routine every night and go to bed at the same time every night. And do something relaxing.

I am an optometry intern.
