NEVER sleep in your contacts. They deprive your cornea's (The cornea is the transparent front part of the eye that covers the iris, pupil, and anterior chamber) of oxygen which can cause many things such as
1) A corneal ulcer, or ulcerative keratitis, or eyesore is an inflammatory or more seriously, infective condition of the cornea, they are extremely painful due to nerve exposure, and can cause tearing, squinting, and vision loss of the eye
2)Corneal Abaraisions(scratches on your eye)
3)Conjunctivitis(pink eye)
4)Corneal edema (water buildup in your cornea)
not to mention many other painful things.
If you are interested in CLS that are less hassle look at a daily lens or and extended wear soft CLS. They do make CLS you can sleep up to a week in but they are not right for everyone. Ask your OPTOMETRIST.
TRUST ME I HAVE HAD A CORNEAL ULCER AND IT IS NO FUN!!!!
I also work for an eye dr and see many people come in with problems from over wearing or mistreating their eyes due to CLS

Depends on what contacts you wear. If they are soft contacts NEVER, I mean NEVER sleep in them. They can dry your eyes out and tear your cornea, causing you to go blind. I know someone who accidentally slept 6 hours in her contacts and almost destroyed her eyes. Your eye doctor will tell you if you can sleep in them or not, depends on what kind and brand of contact you are wearing, but if you are told not to sleep in them, don't sleep in them.

No eye doctor will ever recommend that you sleep with your contacts on. Honestly taking them out and putting them in takes a combined 3 minutes at the most. I've tried to sleep with them in before; when I woke up in the morning, they almost fell out of my eyes because they were all dried up.

You shouldn't sleep with them if you just got them. You need get good at taking them in and out and learn your tolerance with them.

And honestly you shouldn't sleep in them at all unless your eye doctor told you that you can.

No, no, no! My friend's eye doctor said to NEVER sleep with them. They can easily get stuck in your eyes and your eyelids will be stuck together! You will have to go to a doctor IMMEDIATELY at the E.R. o if I were you, I wouldn't take the chance!!!!

It doesn't hurt to every now and then, though your eyes will probably be easily irritated the next day, though. I wouldn't make it too much of a habit.

An optomotrist would tell you not to so I guess you shouldnt
