Question: Are you a person that just can't wear contacts?
I have been wearing glasses for around 4 years. I am kinda tired of them, but i do like to see. I am nearsighted so i wear my glasses all the time because of school and driving. I have an astigmatism.Also i have tried many different contacts, but they are all just uncomfortable for me. Oh, i don't wear wired-rim. I wear stylish ones. Are you or any one you know like this. What can I do? My doctor already said that i have tried all that is out there.

I've worn contacts for 4 years. but there was a stint two years ago when I couldn't wear any contacts. my eyes started to itch and burn every single time I put contacts in. My eye doctor told me I had become allergic to the 2 weekly ones I had been wearing- put me on dailies for 3 months and then I could go back to my two week contacts.

If your eye doctor says you have tried them all- then you have. However things might change in the next few years. Your eyes might change- and the technology might change. So while you can't become a contact wearer right now. Maybe in a few years you'll be able to.

Lasik + $2500.

My advice is either get a second opinion or opt for lasik surgery. I swear by it.
