Dry red itchy eyes...What do I do?!

For a few weeks now, my eyes have been itchy and red and dull gray and red. I do not smoke, nor does anyone I'm close too. They're usually like this when I wake up, after a shower, after I work out and a few hours after I use eye drops. I was told it's not a problem since I don't smoke, but it is disgusting looking.

Please help!
