Question: The optometrist said my vision is off by about 2 points.What does this mean and where in the scale is this?
So im getting glasses because i wont be able to see whats going on at lectures in college, will need to wear them at the back of the movies and driving at night.

Not an answer, but I hope you get one because I was just told the EXACT same thing today. I need to buy glasses for about $220 and that is expensive to me to use for things that I won't be doing often.
2 points could mean anything. If you have a copy of the prescription, have a look at it and if its is higher then + or - 1.00 then get specs. Esspecially if you drive as the driving agencies are very strict on what you are able to see. If you type the prescription I will let you know how it is.
