Question: Why can't I see sometimes?
whenever I get a headache, am dehydrated, or anything similar, I get this weird "feeling" and then I can't see parts of my vision at all/clearly.
the only way to explain it is "loss of vision".
when I get a really bad headache(hasn't happened in about a year), I feel like I can't see at all except for the "power of colors".
my mom had a detached retina, think I might have those problems when I'm older?
I'm 14 btw

This could be a migraine. The visual disturbances you describe might be the migraine 'aura'. It might be a good idea to visit your doctor before you see an optician.
