whats wrong with me ????!

I have a little problem that i am a bit concerned about. Its kinda weird , but i want to know if it happens to other people as well. I am a bit embarrassed to see the doctor about it. I do have a night vision , i tend to see everything in perfect details at night but in red.its like the whole room is red and i can see everything in the room perfectly fine as in day light. that doesnt happen to me all the time , but it has happened to me few times , and it did today as well , and i am very worried. is there anything abnormal about my eyes. For all i know is that i have a very good vision, so never had eye problems. does anyone know what it could be or has anyone had it before.
