Lost eyepatch for my strabismus? What do I do?!

Question: Lost eyepatch for my strabismus? What do I do?
My doctor gave me an eye patch that I'm supposed to wear in order to help correct my eye sight. I'm supposed to start wearing it today, but I just left town and I think I forgot it at my house. Can I make my own eyepatch or place something over my eye for now? And the eyepatch is supposed to go on the perfect/working fine eye right? so that the weaker one does more work as the only eye with vision. Am I right?

Yes, the patch goes on the good eye.

Most pharmacies sell eyepatches for 3 or 4 dollars , which is easier than trying to make one.

Starting patching one or 2 days later than planned won't make any difference.
