Do contacts hurt when you first get them?!

Question: Do contacts hurt when you first get them?
OK, so I'm 14 and want to get contacts. I have been wearing glasses for about a year now, and I have to admit they bother me at times. I didn't get contacts at first because I am REALLLYYY scared of touching my eyes! But what I am trying to get at here is that; does it hurt when you first put them in? and can you guys please tell me how does it feel? Like the contacts in your eyes?

Well, thanks and please answer!

They don't heart there just like on the first day! Maybe irrating but thats it.

they don't hurt, but you can feel them in your eyes for the first few days. kind of like how it feels when there's an eyelash in your eye. you'll get used to them very soon, just make sure you use them gradually like the doctor recommends (start with just a few hours a day, and then keep them in longer as you get used to them).
it doesn't hurt, don't worry :)

the biggest thing is: make sure you DON'T sleep in them! there's supposedly "overnight" contacts, but those are not made to be slept in. even if they're a bit more "breathable," protein builds up on contact lenses. that's why daily cleaning is so important. by the way, i've been using Clear Care solution for years, i feel it works the best.

i hope this helps, just don't worry everything will go well.

Hey I got mine 2 years ago when I was 12 and no I promise you it does not even hurt on tiny bit! It is har to get in for a while but it doesn't hurt. Good luck! :)
