Why do gameboys blind you so fast? Do cellphones have the same screen as gameboy!

Question: Why do gameboys blind you so fast? Do cellphones have the same screen as gameboys?
I lost my eyesight from playing a gameboy a lot when I was younger.
Why does this happen? (radiations, or why eye strain is soo bad if it is because of eyestrain?)

Do cell phone screens blind you in the same way as gameboy screens? Do they use like the same screen as gameboys?
On my htc touch pro 2 when I look on the phone screen as a mirror(ofcourse when it is off) I see myself blurred, but on another non touch screen cell phone I am not blurred.
Does the screen type have anything to do with this?

You can't lose your eyesight from playing gameboy.

Whoever told you that was either kidding, or making up a lie.

If you can still see things, you are not blind. The definition of being blind is: Visual acuity is worse than 20/200 and is NOT correctable with glasses or contacts.

Therefore if you can see just fine with glasses or contacts, YOU ARE NOT BLIND. The only reason that your eyes change in refractive error and require you to need glasses are
1) your eye changes in shape due to genetics
2) your eye is damaged in some way by trauma or a disease

The only things that screens like gameboys, computers, TV's, cell phones, etc is you blink less when you use them (studies have proven this). Because you blink less, you may get some symptoms of dry eye. But these things surely do NOT cause your eye to change so that you need contact or glasses. And they certainly cannot make you blind.

Ya you are not blind..you can see, what you should say is that the gameboy made your eye sight worse. There are different screen types, there is SLD, SuperLCD, IPS LCD, amOLED, Super AMOLED, some screens are meant to reduce reflectiveness and others are meant to be as bright as possible. different screens act differently
