Question: Could a patient of retinal eye detachment go to other countries by plane?
My mom is already 4 weeks after her vetrictomy surgery

You have to ask your surgeon what kind of gas did he use, if he used at all, the problem with it is that the change of pressure when you are flying high can make the gas buble inside your mom's eye expand therefore increasing the intraocular pressure of her eye, she has to be checked if there is any residual bubble, at four weeks it's possible that there is none but you have to check it, if he used silicone then there is no problem, hope that helps
