Light sensitivity isn't a sign of dry eye. Tired and sore is - mine get like that when they are dry , gritty isn't always the case, its a question of how dry. Try some of the fixes for dry eye on answers; drops, hot compresses, drinking more water, getting breaks fro computer screens. These could also be symptoms of eyestrain from use of computer screens. Check answers for relieving stress from teh use of screens. It might also be that your vision isn't quite as perfect as it needs to be. So if none of the above work go to either the doctor or the optician.

if it's something out of the ordinary, why not get it checked?
