Question: Why does my left eye keep stinging?
about a week and a half ago, my left eye started stinging really bad. I thought it was something under or on my contact, so I took them out and wore glasses for about a week to give my eye a rest. I started wearing contacts again last friday, and everything was fine. Just this morning, though, the stinging started again. It was so bad that even after I took out my contact, my eye started stinging worse. I couldn't open my eye for a couple minutes. My left eye is now bloodshot. Any idea what this could be?

Your contact is creating problem.Either it is effecting the flow of blood in one artery or your contact some how giving birth to infection. Contact your eve specialist for detail till that time do not wear contacts.
Make an appointment with the optometrist. Eyes are too precious to let this thing go as long as it has. I once had a blur in my right eye. I saw my optometrist then he didn't find anything and so sent me to an opthalmologist. They didn't find anything either. Soon, the blurring cleared up on its own.
