Question: My mother's eye sight is +1.75. Does it mean her corrected vision is 20/20, if she can see distant objects?

Her prescription tells us nothing about her corrected vision. She will need to ask her eye doctor about her corrected vision, it would have been measured at her last eye exam.



Your mother has problems seeing things close to ( hence the plus) , so she'll have problems reading small print. This has nothing to do with 20/20 which is average vision for people at a distance. She may have better or worse vision than this at a distance.



Hopefully, although some people can't see 20/20 no matter what lens they look through. All we know is that your mom's prescription of +1.75 gives her the best corrected visual acuity.
