ok the person above is an idiot, you don't need a opioid receptor agonist (narcotic like pain-killer). You likely have severe dry eye and/or eye allergy. Your eyes tend to be drier in the mornings because the tear production slows down while you sleep and you don't blink to refresh the tear layer over the eye. Recommend Systane 4-6 times per day, take Omega-3 supplements (fish/flax oil) and frequent breaks from your computer. If this doesn't help see your eye-doctor for prescription drops

I'd add to what woody says that computer screens are known for drying your eyes. If possible cut down on your use, make sure you get at least an hours break at midday and dont' go to bed immediately after using screens. It does help to drink enough water as well , not tea/coffee. I try and get 2 litres minimum .
I think you should rest your eyes. Buy a eye drop and have a few drops in the eye. And maybe it's because of your clogged tear ducts. If tears can go out. It can be a breeding ground for bacteria. I'm not sure. But, I think you should see a eye doctor/specialist and have it checked just to be sure
