How can I get rid of a sty?!


Question: How can I get rid of a sty?
it's not quite a sty– it's a chalazion, but the treatment is pretty much the same. The chalazion is on my lower eyelid and I've had it for about 8 months, and it's definitely gotten smaller but it's still there. I've been applying hot compresses and my eye doctor prescribed two medications, but I see (hah) no change when I use them or don't use them.

I think I just need to wait and it'll go away on its own, but my mom is insisting that I need to keep using hot compresses and the medication.. how should I get rid of it?

You could try hot spoon bathing, however the odd one does not settle and has to be curetted (scraped,) under local anaesthetic.

Your mums right keep taking the medicine it will go in time you may not see the benefits just now but you will. an old remedy is to use a warm teabag on it for a couple of hours every night for a week or so , so make yourself a nice cup of tea and apply the tea bag you used

You'd have to get it removed.

Hot compress dose work other things that work. Is a hot tea bag eye drop sailine soulution wich is contact solution but I really works lol and rub a jalapeno old mexican remedy lol
