Optometrist or Ophthalmologist?!

Question: Optometrist or Ophthalmologist?
I think I may have convergence insufficiency. (double vision, vertigo, sleepiness while reading). I have a history of lazy eye, and I saw an ophthalmologist for that some years ago...

SHOULD I SEE AN OPTOMETRIST OR AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST FOR A DIAGNOSIS???

Answers:

Most ophthalmologists don't like to deal with binocular vision problems, particularly non-surgical cases. Most optometrists, on the other hand, do binocular vision testing on a daily basis.
Find an optometrist; if it's something they can't handle, they'll refer you to a colleague (optometrist or ophthalmologist) who has a special interest in whatever problem you seem to have.

I'm an optometrist.

the latter is best..............
