Problem with gym class, because of Esotropia, Please help me?!

Question: Problem with gym class, because of Esotropia, Please help me?
Well, when I was two, a doctor discovered that I suffered from Esotropia. (Turning in of the eyes) I am now fourteen, and am almost cured, but it greatly impacts my 3D vision. It is coming back to me, and I only really have trouble when something is moving towards me, like a ball or birdie. My eye doctor told my parents to buy me video game systems to help my 3D vision and hand-eye coordination.
Which leads to my problem. In gym today, we are supposed to play badmitten. I have trouble hitting at it, because I panic a little when it comes at me. It's a little hard to describe, just that it sets off a little alarm in my head and makes my vision seem strange. My teammates are less than understanding.
What can I tell my gym teacher? How can I help getting used to things coming at me?

You have to practice harder than your teammates, when your stereopsis (3D vision) is not 100 % your brain takes hints from the size and angle of objects to determine their distance, like when you see a painting and you notice what is near and what is far, tell your parents to throw you stuff at home (carefully) so your brain understands the size things have at certain distances
