Get hit in the other eye. That should help.
You may have sustained muscle damage and that can be long-lasting if not permanent. Try using ice packs alternating with heat. You can try exercising the eyes to see if it can gain strength. Using facial exercises might help but can't be sure. I got damage to one eyelid as a kid and when I'm tired it droops, and there hasn't been anything to change that.

u have ptosis..it is of both congenital and acquired type....it is corrected surgically
