I AM FRUSTERATED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH MY CONTACTS?!?!

Question: I AM FRUSTERATED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH MY CONTACTS?!?
I am very upset about my contacts. I bought them 2 weeks ago, but I only wore them for 3 days, because I have a hard time putting them on. Here's exactly what's happening; I have the contact at the edge of my finger and when I insert it in my eye, it gets all wrinkley so I take it out. This happens over and over again, and my eye gets really teary and red and my sister says when this happens I should just gave my eye a break. I am also scared that they'd get lost in my eye or I'll damage my eyes or something. I am very upset. I see my sister putting them on and I see youtube videos, and it's really annoying other people them it on in NO time. My sister is very busy, and whenever I ask her to put on for me she leaves early just so she doesn't have. I don't have a problem with taking them off, but putting them on is the problem. And is it true to if your eyes are teary you can't put them on? PLEASE HELP ME! I AM GETTING REALLY FRUSTERATED!

Answers:

You just got them. I used to have the same problem too. You'll need contact sloution/cleanser. It's liqiudy. Usually your eye doctor will give you a free trial bottle of it. If not, go buy it in a local drug store.
--If you attempted to put the contact in a lot, clean the contact so you don't have smudges when it's on. Place it in your palm and with the the other hand drip contact cleanser over the contact and rub the contact slightly in the cleanser.
--Put the contact on the tip of your index finger. (make sure the contact looks like a bowl and it's not inside out)
--drip contact cleanser in the contact until it's about half full. Be careful not to put too much or the contact will droop again. ( cleanser also helps make the contact stick to the eye)
--Then use your middle finger on the same hand to pull your lower lid down.
--place contact and move it around your eye a little until it's stuck to your eye.
--close eye and blink to get excess water/cleanser out

Hope this helps! Putting your contacts in your eye the first couple of times you got it will hurt but you'll get used to it! :) Oh and don't worry about it getting lost in your eye, just close your eye and rub on the lid to get the contact back in place. Or sometimes the contact will fall onto your clothes from rubbing. Just make sure you clean it again then you could put it back in your eye.

With your left hand middle finger hold your top eyelid open. Put the contact on your right pointer finger and put 2 drops of fluid in it ( it will help keep it open) with your right middle finger hold you bottom eyelid open gently place the contact in your eye sometimes yank my eye lid closed over the contact to make sure it's properly seated. It helps to do it in front of a mirror.
