Should I be wearing contact lenses if...?!

Question: Should I be wearing contact lenses if...?
sometimes(often these days actually) ive been having trouble with my contact lenses. often, they make my eyes water, hurt, or i see kind of like a blur but when i take my contacts out its gone.

what could it be?
i kinda need to wear them for work and school cuz without them my vision is like 20/80 but i havent been wearing them all the time now. i take them out or dont put them in.

my eye doctor is useless and i plan on switching as soon as i move out but do not bother answering if you're gonna tell me to go see my eye doctor.

should i take them out when theyre like that?

You probably just have dry eyes. Contacts soak up all the water in your eyes. I have a new ind of contacts, Acuvue Trueye. They're great. I recommend switching eye doctors ASAP and getting these new contacts. The blurriness is most likely because of something under your contact, like a piece of dust or fuzz. Because the lenses are soaking up all the water, your eyes can't flush the piece of dust out. I hope this helped! Good luck!

You might have sensitive/dry eyes u might try a contact lens brand like acuvue oasis or air optics they have a higher water content. Honestly the same happens to me that's why I alternate between glasses and contacts. Make sure u use fresh fluid to store them in every night and replace your case every couple months.

The best thing you could ever do is get lasik done. I did 5 yrs ago and I live it. It was very fast and didn't even hurt. I was 20/20 that day. Now days its cheaper to have it done. Check into it. Well worth losing those glasses and contacts for good. I was pretty much blind before I had lasik done. now I can wear my oakleys like I've always wanted to.

I think your perscription is too stong. I would stick to glasses. I have contacts -3.00 on both eyes.
