Why are the whites of my eyes yellow?!

Question: Why are the whites of my eyes yellow?
I've noticed for about a week or two now that the whites of my eyes are kinda yellowish but not right near my pupil. Any advice? Should I go to a doctor?

yes, see a doctor. Could be jaundice which indicates liver failure.

It may be pingueculae which are small discolored bumps on the white parts of the eyes, usually on either side of the iris. They are composed of fatty tissue and are thought to result from dryness, sunlight exposure or wind irritation. They are not harmful to your eyes or your vision but are a cosmetic nuisance.

I had this same question. I have gone to the doctor and he said my bilirubin was high but said nothing of or was concerned about jaundice. I've also got lots of veins in the corner and was thinking the veins cause the slight yellow hue.

Yes you should go to a doctor. Yellow eyes are a sign of hepatitis.
