I wear contacts, but the vision in my left eye is sometimes clear and sometimes !

Question: I wear contacts, but the vision in my left eye is sometimes clear and sometimes fuzzy. Why?
My prescription is -1.75 in my left eye. My old contacts are -1.50. I currently wear -1.50 in my right eye. The exact same brand of contacts, but the left one is fuzzy. When I put my old contacts in my left eye, the vision isn't fuzzy, but when I wear the ones I've currently be prescribed, it's sometimes fuzzy and sometimes perfect. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like a protein build up or it need properly cleaned. Are you wearing gas permeable lenses or soft lenses? I have worn gas permeable ones for around 17 years, but recently noticed that they sometimes feel as if they steam up (like looking through a misted window) and if i blink rapidly, that sometimes helps clear it. My eyes have become dry and my optician said that doesn't help the lenses. You say that it's sometimes fuzzy then sometimes ok, sounds to me like your eyes are dry. Do you spend a lot of time infront of computers like me? Apparently you don't blink as often as normal when you're starting at a screen. I use eye drops before i put mine in. Sometimes though i just give up and wear my glasses. Get your optician to check if your eyes are dry. Also, get protein removing tablets if you are wearing gas permeable ones. Hope this has helped.
