Question: Does honey actually lighten your eyes?
Does honey mixed with distilled water (1:4) really lighten your eyes? Or is it just a old wives tale that doesn't actually work?

That is from holistic medicine. The idea of that is to keep the eyes clear, NOT lighten the color.
It doesn't actually do anything, although the native indians used to use honey to cure eye infections....but modern medicines available now are much more effective for that.
And from what I have read about it , it is 1:10

Old wive's tale, but the inflammation from the irritation and possible infection might make them appear lighter for a while.
