Use hand sanitizer. If you wave your hands about so tehy are dry before you take your lenses otu it won't irritate. I use wipes as well, making sure I get soemthing non-perfumed. Baby wipes are ideal but tend to come in large packs. Contact solution doesn't really clean your hands and if you touch your solution with dirty hands you risk contaminating the solution. Its not very convenient to carry either. Put together a small bag with your contact case filled with solution, contact eye drops , a single wipe and/or anti-bacterial gel.
possible i'm doing it sometimes. first i rub my hand with alcohol the wipe it with tissue the rinse it with my contacts solution.
