What brand of contact lenses do you use..?!

Question: What brand of contact lenses do you use..?
I'm 21 years old and near sighted, so my vision isn't horrible but I can't really see from far everything is pretty much blurry to me but only from far and everything close up I can see perfectly. I recently got perscribed clear (non colour) contact lenses and I love my vision now and I can see clearly and everything is very sharp to me. The brand I use is *Ciba Vision Aqua* and the solution I use is Renu Fresh. I love my eye contact lenses they don't irritate me or bug I barely feel them and realize I am wearing them but it's only been 2 weeks and so far so good I have the ones that you wear for a month but take out before bed and after a month I put fresh new ones in. What brand of contact lenses do you wear and for how long and how do you and your eyes feel wearing them (if you use coloured ones, what colour and are they prescribed?) Also.. what solution do you use for your contact lenses, details please. Thanks in advance.

Answers:

Ciba is great..I have used Bausch & Lomb for a good number of years...Cooper Vision as well...B & L remains my fave of soft lenses...
Everyone is different..if I don't do disposables, I have to change mine every 6 months due to protien build up from allergies...I used to be able to wear regular lenses for a year, no prob..unless the script changed..

Hey i am 13 and been where contacts for bout a year
The brand of contacts i use are Biofinity, I use mine for long distance and are -2.00, mine last for about a month but sometimes i use mine longer because they feel perfectly normal. The solution i use atm is RecLens :)

First thing I'd say is "If your contacts are perfect dont' even think about changing". There is a saying "If its not broken don't fix it". i use Accuvue advance fortnightlies and focus dailies for swimming. Like both although the fortnightlies are better. I used to have monthlies and thought they were great until the fortnightlies came out. Solutions - coopervision options multi and drops and blink contact drops.

With contacts watch your wearing time even if they are comfortable . Your eyes need extra oxygen at some point in the day so be careful if you are regularly going over 12 hours and wear every day. Don't leave them in at night. I personally have quite a variable wearing time as now find problems using them in front of computer screens because they tend to dry the eyes and I work on computers.

Know that feeling of loving your vision when you first get contacts - 40 years on and it still remains fresh in my mind.
