Can sinus pressure behind the eyes cause floaters?!

Question: Can sinus pressure behind the eyes cause floaters?
Recently, I've had real bad sinus pressure behind the eyes. There shortly after, I started developing eye floaters. Lots of them. All kinds. Specks and big ones. Clusters, raining down when I look at bright screens on a sunny day. Could my sinus pressure have caused it? Will they go away?

I disagree with the other person who answered. Yes, I believe any type of issue in the proximity of the eye cavities can contribute towards seeing floaters. Dry eyes, etc.

Keep in mind that eye floaters are typically harmless, especially if you have been to an eye doctor and confirmed that you do not have a retinal tear. Most floaters are the result of bits of protein or cells that remain in the vitreous humor after birth and float around when the vitreous becomes more liquefied later in life.

There are several things you can do to cut down drastically on the floaters, and I highly recommend visiting www.floatersolution.com for more information on this subject.

Best of luck.

no, sinus pressure generally does not cause any eye/vision symptoms like floaters or blur.
