do i need glasses with right eye of +0.25 -0.50 with axis 112.0 and left eye of !

Question: Do i need glasses with right eye of +0.25 -0.50 with axis 112.0 and left eye of +0.50 -0.50 with axis 60.0?
Hi there,
I having a dilemma whether or not to make new glasses. The one that I am currently wearing has +1.00 on both eyes. But since the past few months I am having a very bad headache especially when sitting in front of the laptop and do some readings with or without glasses (I am a student). If I focus too much for a few hours, I hardly can read at all after that. So I went to have 2 eye tests at 2 different stores.
right : +0.25 -0.50 112
left : +0.50 -0.50 60
this shows my power has dropped, no?
One of the optometrist said I need to get a new one just to help with the reading and driving.
Another one suggest that there's not going to be much difference whether I wear glasses or not but he still provide me a prescription.
At some point I think I need to get one because of the headache but at the same time I feel that it is not necessary since the power is not that high.

another question, is sphere and cylinder going to be add up together? if yes, wouldn't it be that my prescription is merely like a plain glasses?

Really appreciate your help.
Thanks.

The new prescription has correction for astigmatism, which should help at all distances. It is a pretty weak prescription, hence one of the opticians saying it won't be that much of a difference.

The cylinder power doesn't totally offset the sphere power because it is 2 different types of lens, so they aren't plain glass, but they aren't very strong either. Some people notice and are bothered by slight vision problems more than others. At first, maybe try ordering an inexpensive pair at one of the cheap on-line sites and see what kind of help they provide. This way, if you find they aren't worth wearing, you haven't thrown a lot of money at the problem. Try looking on www.zennioptical.com or www.glassesshop.com (there are other cheap sites as well). If you find you use the glasses a lot, you can always buy a nice designer pair later on.
