I have a hard time seeing 3D!! Help!?!?!

Question: I have a hard time seeing 3D!! Help!?!?
OK so I feel like I'm going to miss out on a lot (mostly this summer) I just fully paid and pre-ordered the new Nintendo 3DS. But here is my problem I have a hard time seeing 3D, before you ask yes I have two eyes one is better than the other (left beats right)

I can see 3D but only about 10% of what others must be seeing when I saw avatar it was kinda hard to keep my attention because I keep seeing people going *wooo ahhh* and here I was thinking its no more than 3 inches ''off the screen'' and the picture quality was really bad....

So now that im looking to buy a new 3D HDTV and the new 3DS on March 27th I need some eye explanation and also I heard you can train your eyes to see depth better and over all eye sight.

So lately I have been closing my good eye when I play games cuz I heard seeing things in HD is good for your eyes also I have been closing my good eye when I do just simple tasks like walk out to get the male and I look at far off distances then look at my finger up close then look back at a tree about half a mile away ect.

So what is my eye problem how do I fix it is there any eye/brain training I can do, also I am going to go get my eyes looked at asap......but still help!!

I think you should go to your Optometrist and have them check you for binocularity problems. If you have problems with binocularity problems you will have issues seeing 3D.

[Jeremy]...
You answered the question when you wrote... you have 2 eyes, one is better than the other.. (L beats R).

3D vision = Binocular vision = depth perception.
you need to have 2 eyes working at the same time, and they must be able to see quite well to see 3D. Now if your R eye is quite poor (especially if not correctable with glasses or CL's), because of a lazy eye or a turned eye... then 3D vision won't be any good.
