Why are my pupils always dilated?!
Question: Why are my pupils always dilated?
For my whole life, my pupils have been HUGE! They rarely become small, even in light. No I don't do drugs or anything that would cause this, I was just born with it. I did the "shine a light in your eye" experiment. This did make my pupils shrink immediately, however I read that they should stay that way for at least 30 seconds. Mine went back to my regular dilated size after about 4 seconds. Are there any type of diseases that cause this? I'm only 14 so I don't think this is a normal thing. I'm going to the eye doctor later this month for the first time because I desperately need glasses. Should I bring this up with the eye doctor?

I have the same problem. This could just be something that you were born with and you may have to just live with. But you should still bring this up with your optician. Good luck. Here's a bit of info if you need it...
