Is it normal for your normal vision to get worse after wearing contacts?!

Question: Is it normal for your normal vision to get worse after wearing contacts?
Just to clarify right off the bat, I know that vision can and does get worse over time with or without glasses, but I have been wearing my contact lenses for only 2 weeks, not years. I have noticed that my normal vision (that is, my vision without my contact lenses in) is worse than what it was before I started wearing them. I can tell that it isn't the typical mental response of "you just got used to seeing things so clearly over those 2 weeks with contacts that you didn't realize how blurry your vision was" because I used to be able to see things up close just fine without any optical aids. Now everything is blurry no matter how close up it is.

Your vision is not getting worst, the thing is that you see much better with your contacts that when you take them off the difference i greater, think it like this: let's say you've never had a car, you've always needed to walk everywhere you went, you were accostumed to it, when you buy a car you go everywhere with your car, now you are so accostumed to the car that you feel tired when you walk, the distances are the same you are just accostumed to how easy it is to drive where you want to go, so now that your vision is clearer you see notice a bigger difference to how your vision was before

Are you still wearing your contact lenses? It happens to me when I wear them for a few days and just take them off at night. I notice that my vision seems "worse" -- however, I don't think it gets worse. Instead I think my eyes get accustomed to it and need a bit of time to readjust. Also, if you just started wearing them then it also takes a little while for your eyes to get used to them. Good luck!

It's the fact that while wearing the contacts, your eyes adjusted themselves to be able to see while wearing them. This in turn caused a change in your normal vision without them.

I have contacts and glasses and I feel the same when I take them off. It's cause your eyes are used to seeing better and your vision feels worse. It's normal.
