Children are most dysfunctional, demented and less cooperative when parents are !

Question: Children are most dysfunctional, demented and less cooperative when parents are glasses wearers?
Just comparing behaviour of children with parents who wear glasses and parents who dont.

From spending a year observing the difference. Children with parents who wear glasses exhibit lack of cooperation, looking for trouble, demented behaviour, and lack calmness.

Children with parents without glasses seem quiet, calm, cooperative, observant and lacking demented behavoiral traits

Here is one possibility. The parents of the children you admire wear contacts or have had LASIK so the comparison you are really making is between parents who can afford better eye care and those who cannot. Another possibility is that the parents with glasses are older than the parents without. I have not observed what you have. Whenever you have a correlation between A and B, there are three possibilities: A cause B. B causes A. A and B are caused by C. I suppose it is even possible that parents with naughty children get so little sleep that they are unable to get up early enough to put in contacts.

Then you aren't looking deep enough, or including any other important factors in the kids lives. Whether parents have glasses or not is such a minor thing in the first place and definitely doesn't overshadow environment, education, language skills, social interaction, employment, or even diet.

Not quite the makings of a good research project. Too many variables and a poor conclusion that's not based in evidence.
