Question: What is WX in multifocal glasses mean?
OD -0.25 -0.50 X 80
OS pl -0.50 X 70
near add +1.50
so I found +WX written over my mother progressive (multifocal) spectacle glasses and I don't know what do this mean ??? need help

Are you talking about some letters that are stamped or etched into her lenses? They are there to tell what brand of lenses she is wearing. WX means they are Hoyalux GP wide in Trivex. There are also some small circles on her lenses to help show where the reading part of her lens starts. These marks are usually very hard to see.
