pink eye or abrasion to eye?!

Question: Pink eye or abrasion to eye?
I'm trying to figure out if I just have an minor eye abrasion or some form of pink eye.
My left eye looks normal, but its highly sensitive to light (it hurts when I even look at light. I found this out while walking to class one day & immediately looking down to avoid the fluorescent light & later in another class I was okay only because the classroom was dimly lit. This was with contacts on. Another thing I've noticed is that I've had yellow/white discharge in my eye, but its not too bad. My eye is also tear like sometimes. If I gently touch my eye, it hurts. It sucks not being able to wear both contacts & always having to wear sunglasses. I can't make eye contact with people, because it would mean a lot of light going into my left eye thus causing lots of pain. I really hate I have to occasionally squint my eye to read something on the board. Its been 3 1/2 days so far. Any ideas of whats up with my eye? thanks for any input. And I've put eye drops when it seems like somethings in there. Thanks

You need to get this looked at by your eye doctor. Sensitivity to light is pretty high on my list of things that need to be treated. You could have corneal infiltrates from wearing contacts. It could be iritis.

Practice doing the best things for the best reasons for 1 minute a day.
Then gradually over time, you might work your way up to doing the
best things for the best reasons for as long as 4 whole consecutive minutes.

You probably have an eye infection, perhaps from wearing contact lenses. You should have it checked out by a doctor and get some prescription anti-biotic eye drops if necessary.
