When will my vision stop getting worse?!

Question: When will my vision stop getting worse?
I'm 17 and my vision is still getting a bit worse. Like every year when I go to the eye doctor I have to get a stronger prescription. About what time will it stop getting worse?

Answers:

For most people, once they are fully grown, their vision stops changing (or greatly slows down). This is usually in your early 20's.

That's usually when the worst is at its peak. It will start going down a bit as you enter your later teens/early twenties. It did that for me. Mine was the worst at -3.25 in both eyes when I was 17 or 18 and it's -2.75 in my left and -2.50 in my right at 23.

I'm also myopic

It should stop getting worse around your twenties but usually get worse again when you're older. if you always wear your glasses or contacts, it should help.

Your vision continues to change thru out your life.

It will stop around when you're 25. Then it will start again around 40.
