if i take my contacts out and put them in water for the night, will they be ok for tomorrow even though they are dailies?

NO, small bacteria in water could settle on or in the eye which will lead to infection which could cause you to go blind, trust me I saw a video on it and I also wear contacts.
NEVER soak/rinse your lenses with water. There is a microbe that lives in water (yes, even clean, filtered US water) that can cause an eye infection. If you must try to extend the life of the CLs, use a contact lens solution or sterile saline for soaking. They still might not make it, but it is much safer than soaking in water.

do you have contact solution? if not, contact solution is available anywhere, for about $4 a bottle.
you can set up 2 cups and put solution in each of them enough to soak each contact fully. :)
i'm pretty sure you'll be fine for just one more day.
