It depends on what type of lenses you have. I assume you are asking because you wear daily lenses. These will dry out because of their design, and you should take them out if your eyes become very dry/sandy/gritty feeling or if you find yourself rubbing your eyes/uncomfortable. Yes, they can because bloodshot if your eyes are too dry. Take them out at the first sign of any of the above. You can try to use rewetting drops to try to keep the lenses moist. Also, make sure you are blinking frequently. When you are concentrating on a task, like reading, you tend not to blink as often.
If you have a newer lens design (like Oasys, Focus Night and Day) you will probably be ok with occasional overnight wear.

They will probably be bloodshot whether or not you leave your contacts in!! Leaving them in for that long is not a good idea because you risk damage that could lead to infection. I'd take them out for a few hours, just to give my eyes a rest from them and to clean any protein build-up that may have accumulated already.

The could. Remember your eyes are very sensitive and even though you CAN leave your contacts in doesnt mean you should. I wear contacts and try to take them out nightly but I have worn them for longer than 48 hours before, but again why risk damaging your eyes?

I would take them off. Even if it's for an hour

take it off lol that badddd

no they should b fine!
