I think someone stole my glasses what do i do?!

Question: I think someone stole my glasses what do i do?
Yesterday at school I left my eye glasses in my dance class (brand new ray-bans and I know it was really stupid of me but I'm very forgetful -____-) and I just thought I'd go after school and get them. Well when I went after school they were gone and I'm thinking someone stole them. So if I see someone with them on what do I do? Do I just take them off their face? I mean I know whoever took them (if someone did) won't admit that they're my glasses and keep denying it so what do I do?/:
I need them to see they're prescription glasses:( and I know they're ray-bans and they're in style right now, but seriously who the hell steals prescription glasses? -__-

First check the lost & found at school.

You could keep a lookout for anybody that suddenly is wearing your model of raybans (but don't yank them off thier face because you don't know for certain if they are yours). Also if somebody stole them, they probably would be really nervous about wearing them back to the school where they were taken from so, I'm thinking you won't see them being worn at school (unless whoever stole them was unusually stupid).

Unless whoever stole them just happens to have the same prescription as you, they will probably try to have the lenses changed. If you are in a small town, where there are only a few eyeglasses places, you could ask them to be on the look out for someone bringing in your model of raybans wanting prescription lenses changed. (You could provide your prescription so they can see if it matches, but I'm thinking they are busy with their own work and probably not going to make heroic efforts to watch for them and, even if they do run acros ones that match, it still isn't quite enough evidence to actually prove they are yours.

You might try bluffing: put up a notice at school stating "A pair of prescription glasses was taken from the dance classroom, someone saw the person do it. Before I get the police involved, I am giving the person who took them a chance to return them to the lost & found, no questions asked". This might scare an inexperienced thief into returning them.

They might have been put in lost property! You should ask your teacher if you can look in lost property and if they aren't there then it's likely that someone has stolen them. Tell your teacher and they can help find out who has them. It will be obvious if there is someone walking around in some ray bans and they didn't have them before :)

Just be quite and watch out who wears it and comes.

the lens can be changed and the frame can be reused., also some people just have a habit of picking up things thinking that they will hand over to the authorities, and are lazy to do that.!
