what are you, 5?! you cannot be serious! when you blink, your eyelids shut--not letting any light in--making it black! you may not be going blind but honey, you need some other help.

do you mean like after your eyelid comes back up you lose vision, or while your blinking. because if it's mid blink than it happens to everyone and if your joking around it's nort really funny since some people really are going blind slowly.

If you lose vision after you blink then go see a doctor immediatly

You can't see through your eyelids? How strange is that! You should be able to see through your eyelids. If you blink and everything goes black, that's like not being able to see through your eyelids. If this has been going on all your life, you might have a genetic defect.

um... when you close your eyes everything goes black... maybe you don't notice that you're blinking? if you mean that after you open your eyes it's still black, you should see an optometrist because then you might actually be going blind

Think about this, when you blink, your eye gets covered by your eyelid , causing your vision to go blank. This happens to everyone.
