Question: Does 1-800-Contacts sell RGP lenses? Also, soft lens question?

I wanted to look at 1-800-Contacts to buy my contacts through Wal-Mart, and online, I can't find any rigid gas-permeable lenses! Do they sell them? Or am I just not looking in the right place on the website? Also, are soft lenses okay for dry eyes? I saw on a vision website that they will dry out and stick to your eye! Is this true? :| Thanks!

Contact lenses are medical devices that need to be properly fit to your eyes in accordance with a written prescription from an eye doctor. Rigid lenses in particular need very precise measurements and a proper fitting performed. You can't just order RGPs online, you need to find a doctor who's good at fitting them (not all of us do it, or don't do it often) and have the proper lenses for your eyes. RGPs are a lot more finicky than soft lenses; to be honest, I don't even know if Walmart deals with them at all, because it's a lot of effort, a lot more expensive, and you can't buy them in bulk.
Soft lenses are fine for dry eyes, but they may make your eyes feel even more dry than they already do.
