The Base curve and Diameter are parameters of a CONTACT LENS...

Base Curve (BC) is the radius of curvature of the backsurface of the contact lens.. ie, how steep or flat the back of the lens is.

The diameter.. the size of the contact lens when view directly from the front.

Think of these 2 values like... your bra...

Chest Size and Cup Size... Now depending on the manufacturer of the bra... each will have their own size...even though they may use the same numbers and letters... but one 10C from 1 brand will be different to 10C from another brand.

Now that should answer your question about everyone being the same or different.
I know you wouldn't go and buy a bra (coz the chest/cup sizes are the same as an 'older' bra that you've worn before... without trying them on)... so why do it to your eyes?

For Contact Lenses, it's very important for you to get them professionally fitted to your eye, so that they don't do irreversible damage to them.

Good luck.

There are many base curves and diameters. It depends on the brand.

It isn't the person who has the measurements , it's the contacts.
