Possible eye INFECTION?!

Question: Possible eye INFECTION?
http://i54.tinypic.com/swx110.jpg

I started wearing contacts a week ago.
*Yesterday when I removed them, I noticed the bottom left corner of my left eye was very red. I applied eye drops made to sooth redness.
*I woke up today with the eye exactly the same
*I chose not to wear my contacts today
*I have been applying the eye drops but It doesn't seem to get better
*It stings when the eye drop touches the red area but not the white.
*It hurts a little every time I blink.
*It's only red in that lower left corner.

What do you guys think it could be? I don't have an appointment until Monday with the optometrist! PLEASE HELP!

Answers:

Ok first I think it's an eye infection because either you didn't clean your hands or your contacts are dirty make sure you disinfect it every 3 days and if you do that every time either you bought cheap contacts well if your doctor said you should try it it is fine but maybe it's something wrong with your eye make your appointment as soon as possible this could be serious but most likely it is your contacts.
