That is impossible to say. I could not even say after examining your eyes. I probably could not say after seeing both types of lenses on you in the exam room. I would probably have an answer after sending you out for a week with one type of lens and seeing how you functioned in your environment. Fitting contacts for someone who needs bifocals is a series of compromises. So if you want to wear contacts be prepared to:
1. Settle for compromises. This means that something does not work as well as you think it should.
2. Pay your fitter for the considerable time it will take.
3. Be prepared to try several different lenses.
