Question: Will anything happen if my basecurve is 8.9 but i am wearing contact lens that has a basecurve of 8.6 ?

Think of your feet and shoes..

if you normally wear size 9, will you squeeze your feet into a size 6?

{ed..} you've got it the wrong way around.... if anything the 8.6 base curve (if every other parameter is kept the same) will be TIGHT, not LOOSE compared to the 8.9 BC.



If you are fit for 8.9 and try an 8.6, the contact will not have as steep a curve as required for your eye. It will not lie on your eye correctly - it will be "loose fitting" and will tend to move over your eye and could scratch your cornea. NOT a good idea.
