Do eyes change color with mood?!

Question: Do eyes change color with mood?
My eyes are brown, but turn light green when I'm angry or crying. My boyfriend's green eyes turn amber when he's upset. A couple people have asked me questions about this, so I want to know if anyone else has noticed this. It's not lighting or clothing. Please no rude answers.

A number of people say this happens and it makes sense to me. Your iris (the colored part of your eye) is very vascular. Mood effects how full these vessels are with blood. How much blood in the vessels effects the color. No one would have any problems with the statement that mood effects the color of your face. The process is similar in your eyes.

In the future, it would probably be better if you asked the question you want answered.

I don't understand your question here. "Do eyes change color with mood? - Telling me it can't happen isn't an answer" I think your question really is if this is common. And no, it's very rare. Usually the pupil only gets either smaller or bigger due to the heart rate, heart rate usually speeds up when you're either sad/angry/hyper etc. Or if you drink any type of caffeine :)

Yes some people's do. Mine are brown also, and depending how sad, the greener they get!
How cool it is! (:
