Question: Red eye from contact...can I still put eyedrops?
I accidentally fell asleep in my contacts again (I know..)..anyway Iam paying for it now because my left eye is red, bloodshot and hurts :(
Is it safe to use Visine eyedrops to reduce redness? Im aware it doesn't help, but to get rid of the red?

Its probably best just to leave your The redness is about getting enough oxygen back to them. Leave them alone to get over it unaided and keep your contacts out. However make sure that you haven't scratched your left eye, its a bit odd having just one red and it happening overnight. If you've got an infection it'll get worse over the next 24 hours in which case you need to go to teh doctor. Best not to disguise or change symptoms by using eye drops.
