Can we use those multi-purpose contact lens solutions (Opti-Free Replenish, Opti-Free Express, Bausch & Lomb BioTrue, Bausch & Lomb ReNu, AQuify, ...) to lubricate or rewetting our eyes while wearing contact lenses?

No they aren't meant to do that. You need the specialized contact rewetting drops.

No. Bausch + Lomb’s Multi-Purpose Solutions are not approved for direct use in the eye. We cannot recommend using a product for other than its intended purpose.

We recommend moisturizing your soft contact lenses while wearing them with ReNu MultiPlus? Lubricating and Rewetting Drops. ReNu MultiPlus? Lubricating and Rewetting Drops, contains Povidone, a demulcent used in products for dry eyes.
