Wait until 8th grade or high school.
Show her you are responsible.

First, prove how responsible you are. I wear contacts and if you don't clean them properly, they will hurt your eyes. Clean everything you own, your room, book bag, make it clean. Second try to join modified sports. They don't allow you to wear glasses (at least in most states) and they will require you to get contacts or play without glasses. Third, offer to help pay. Go for the 6 month supply it is the easiest to keep clean without getting to expensive. Go for soft lenses. If you break a hard lens it will be difficult to replace. Just be nice and as time goes on she will become more open to the idea of you wearing contact lenses.

There's obviously a reason why she doesn't want you to have contacts. Next time you go to the eye doctor, talk about it with him/her and your mom. The doctor will smooth out any concerns your mom might have.
