Question about my eyes...?!

Question: Question about my eyes...?
Okay, yesterday, they tested my eyes in school. I got this:
Near-20/40 left, 20/30 right
Far-20/50 left, 20/30 right
I'm going to an eye doctor Friday, but I just am nervous and don't know what's gonna happen. I don't want glasses AT ALL.
Oh, and I'm 14. Any help will be appreciated.

Look up good posture in YouTube. If you get good posture you'll see things more clearly. Standing, walking or sitting down with incorrect posture puts a massive strain on the body.

While nobody can guarantee you immediate perfect vision you should be aware that your mood and body are linked up and you could be making your vision worse unnecessarily.
It's an open secret for most people involved in the conitact lens and glasses industry that the type of lens they use will make anyone's vision worse in the long run. (But that does mean extra profits as more glasses are sold) They also know if people are already ignoring the signs of bad eyesight they will continue to ignore any further deterioration in eyesight once they start wearing glasses full-time. By doing all this in such a subtle way they can easily get away with things and never have to worry about getting in trouble (for what they are doing.)

Customers buy the idea that glasses are good for the eyes because they see more clearly with them on. But look at body language language of people who wear glasses. Where is their previous positivity? what's this new awkwardness in their behaviour? They look awful with their appearance of low confidence, bad eyesight/posture and a misuse of the brain. Glasses just mislead people and the long term welfare of the eyes is ignored.
Really in the end bad eyesight is a symptom of a bigger problem (much like how the breathing, heartbeat, stomach and the performance of the liver can be an indicator of a problem.)

Bad habits can come into play when wearing glasses. Habits such as staring at people, bad posture, poor balance, change of psychology and treating life as a constant emergency. You may refuse to spend time outdoors and instead spend it indoors watching tv. You may develop emotional/anger problems and unnecessary complexes regarding your parents. All these things are signs of a problem and your life expectancy will become shorter.

Myopia is simply having a sphere shaped eyeball (normal) change shape to become more like a football (oval) shaped.
Myopia is a serious health risk and most cases are avoidable. Myopia leads to greater incidents of cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment, lacquer cracks and more.

You can see websites like myopiaprevention.org to read up studies made which look into the causes of myopia. It seems the optical industry has been clever to have avoided any trouble up to now. They have been using flawed methods for many years. Their approach to eyecare is so ignorant and harmful. No cause of a problem is properly dealt with. It's just shoved into a closet with the door slammed shut. Nothing is ever solved or made better.

It's ironic that they should call themselves eye care specialists . For most people they represent the end of normal life and the cementing of a lifetime with glasses and general bad-health.

If you need help on looking after your eyes and establishing what is normality just look up natural eyesight restoration, eye exercises, yoga eye exercises, improve posture/balance or alexander technique online.
Doing that will help you in the short run. If you see a website asking for money you can ignore it. as There are plenty of free resources online, and what we are talking about isnt complicated stuff.

(you just have to look for it / ask for it.)

Would you rather have glasses and be able to see well, or not have glasses and see poorly?

There seems to be an obvious choice here.

So, why don't you want glasses?

I suppose another option is contact lenses.
